🎯 Purpose

The Page Title widget dynamically displays the current page’s title, using the content set in WordPress without having to type it manually. It’s ideal for templates, landing pages, archives, or any dynamic content layouts.

🛠️ Content & Configuration

  • Automatic Title Retrieval

    • Automatically pulls the page title from WordPress settings or the Elementor Site Identity source.

  • Context Options

    • Optionally include context prefixes (e.g., “Category:”) and the home page title.

    • You can add custom text before or after the title and provide fallback text if no title exists.

  • Linking

    • Make the title clickable, typically linking to the page itself.

    • Advanced link settings let you open the link in a new tab or add link attributes like nofollow.

  • HTML Tag Selection

    • Choose the semantic tag for the title: H1–H6, div, span, or paragraph for SEO and design structure.

  • Alignment

    • Set horizontal alignment: left, center, right, justified, or full-width based on layout needs.

🎨 Style & Typography Options

  • Text Styling

    • Customize color, font family, size, weight, letter spacing, text stroke, shadow, and blend mode settings.

    • Separate hover-state styling is also available.

⚙️ Advanced Settings

  • Spacing & Layout

    • Control margin, padding, and responsive visibility to fine-tune placement on different devices.

  • Positioning & Layering

    • Adjust z-index, custom positioning, and CSS classes or attributes for enhanced layout control.

  • Effects & Animation

    • Add entrance animations, hover effects, or scroll-triggered motion effects for dynamic presentation.

✅ Best Practices

  • Use meaningful HTML tags (e.g., H1 on main pages, H2 or smaller on inner pages) for SEO and structure.

  • Add contextual extensions or fallback text for dynamic or special-use pages.

  • Ensure link behavior aligns with navigation intent.

  • Style typography and spacing consistently to match branding.

  • Test responsive behavior to maintain visual hierarchy across all devices.

📌 Ideal Use Cases

  • Templates for blogs, portfolios, or landing pages where page titles vary dynamically.

  • Headers in custom page layouts featuring dynamic titles.

  • Archive or taxonomy pages, where the title reflects current category or tag names.

  • Home or featured pages, using conditional settings and before/after text for design variation.

The Page Title widget combines dynamic retrieval with complete design control—delivering structured, styled titles that adapt to each page’s content.
